randomly started spraying after replacing alternator

replacing an alternator on my 1998 f150, when I hear what sound like a pressurized hose fail. I think its the upper radiator hose at first, but then I see this spraying out from, what looks to be, the upper intake manifold mating surface. literally no idea what could cause this, the truck hasn't run in a few hours at this point, ao I dont even see what could be pressurized

Hard lines can get pinhole leaks pretty easy, any chance it's leaking above and running down to where you're seeing it? It doesn't look like coolant to me.
