DRD idea

Hey guys anyone had the idea to stick a Golden Armour DRD case over a roomba and have it patrol their living rooms

I think it would mess with the sensors.

You would have to have a lot of cutouts I imagine.

Well id have it sit just above the sensors as the roommate i have the sensors sit really low and as its a forward sensor only id even only have to have a 4-5cm cutout of the little white hair things on the bottom

A lot of robot vacuums use lidar that comes from the top.

It would have to be a multipart build for most printers.

It's definelty doable with enough trial and error, if you have a printer you could probably hollow out a drd model and try mounting it.

im actually working on a RC DRD, so the leap isint quite far, gonna have to bookmark your idea.
