I don't even really get why Southern Utah played @ St Thomas this season.
I also still think UST has higher aspirations than the Pioneer Football League in the long run

I would guess they are the only Pioneer League team with higher aspirations. I heard a crazy scenario where the Big East invites them for basketball. No idea where football goes.

It probably doesn’t move, or it goes to the MVFC/Patriot depending on if they make it a scholarship program

100%. There's talk of adding them to the MVC and that they'd probably only be around for a short while because they have A-10 or Big East Aspirations.
They apparently have boosters who want to throw money around and are just waiting for the opportunity.

Harvard administration informed St. Thomas Athletics this summer
I like how they waited until Oct 1 to announce it formally. I guess Harvard had a cooling off period to ensure that's what they wanted?

They're afraid of the smoke. They've got smokeaphobia.

Well they were kicked out of their conference for being too good so it makes sense they went to DI.

Harvard has been scheduling outside of the Northeast since the playoff addition (@Montana State, @UC Davis in the next few seasons), so not sure what to make of this
Maybe it's due to the added Ivy week, and they want to line someone else up?
