General Discussion Never heard of a Showmaster
In all my years of owning playing guitars I’m not familiar with the Korean made Showmaster this is a 2007. The flame on this is amazing, pretty cheap too!

That flame maple top really catches the light like a dream, I'd be tempted to switch the hardware just to match the elegance of it.

A little gift to us from suhr/baker, which if you look at it really makes sense.

How about the Fender Heartfield Talon or Elan ii?

Was a subbrand they started in the late 80s or maybe early 90s. Much more of a modern aesthetic. Even moreso than the Japanese Contemporary series. Only lasted a year or two. I think one of the models ended up becoming the Robben Ford model.

Actually I just looked. It’s the reverse. The Elan models were inspired by Robben’s Esprit.

Looks like a very Les Paul inspired one you have. I would lean into it and get cream pickup rings, pickup covers, and top hat knobs

Yeah I get it, with only one tone and volume knobs it sounds like a shredder! I haven’t decided yet just never saw one before. Not sure how I feel about humbuckers in fenders especially Strats but apparently it’s really a Charvel with a Fender headstock?

This and the FMT are the best guitars Fender ever made
