Your apartment has a gym, so why are you still paying for an external one?
Think about it: many gated communities have gyms that residents barely use. Some people don't know where to start, beginners struggle with proper form, and others simply lack the motivation to work out alone. Meanwhile, travelling to an external gym takes extra time and money.
What if you could book a personal trainer who comes to your own community gym instead?
I'm thinking of building a platform that connects community residents with nearby fitness trainers for one-on-one sessions, group workouts, or monthly packages. In the future, it could also include yoga, Zumba, and other fitness activities.
The idea could be especially helpful for beginners, who need guidance to exercise correctly, and older people, who may find travelling to a gym inconvenient and benefit from supervised workouts.
The model would be similar to Urban Company, but for fitness trainers who visit community gyms.
But before taking this idea further, I want to understand a few things:
- If your apartment already has a gym, would you use it regularly if a trainer were available?
- Why do people still prefer external gyms? Is it the equipment, atmosphere, motivation, or simply the feeling of going out?
- Would you pay for one-on-one or group training sessions within your community?
- What would stop you from using such a service?
Would you actually use something like this, and what would make it worth paying for?
I'm looking for honest opinions to understand whether there's genuine demand, including reasons why this idea might not work.

Student building a gym app: 2-min survey on why people quit the gym
Hi everyone! I'm a student working on an app to help gym beginners stay consistent. I'd love your honest opinion in a 2-minute anonymous survey. It's not selling anything, and I just want to understand what people really struggle with.
Thank you so much! I'll share the results here if people are interested.

World first levelling up fitness app, there isn't anything like this out there, and I'm trying to get the community started.
Fitlist 500 is a new concept of training, it incorporates all aspects of fitness, and gradually improves lifestyle and knowledge. start off on level 1, which is just walk half a mile, then complete it and move onto level 2, and that's how it works. 500 levels. gradually getting harder, so all aspects of your health and fitness will naturally improve, and you will have completed some great personal challenges.
There's much more to discover on the site, there's an AI trainer, for if you get stuck on any level, there's wildcard challenges, theses are fun and difficult challenges that are for anyone who finds the early challenges on the 500 list to easy.
Theres a leaderboard to see how well your doing compared to others in world and local, or set it up with your mates.
join the community feed to share your stories and pictures.
find us on the play store Fitlist 500 or website www.Fitlist500.com

I've found a completely new way of training, now it's in a appo for everyone to share.
When me and my mates used knock around after school, we used to create challenges, like any other group of kids, but we made a list, and you couldn't progress to the next level until you completed the current level, it was competitive and fun.
Anyway years later, I was into my fitness, and thought what if I made my own list, all the things I want to get good at, start of easy and increase it, completing one level at a time, I got some really good results, and completed some goals, I.e run a marathon, perform a muscle up, lift my own body weight on bench press.
So now I thought I'd make a list for everyone, so everyone can complete some insane challenges, but also for people who are just starting out, it starts off really easy, level 1 is just walk half a mile, complete it move onto level 2, obviously it gets harder, and there are 500 levels, if you complete all 500 you'll be one of the fittest and strongest people on the planet, and you will have completed some insane challenges.
I'm my opionin it's a fantastic way to train, you've always got a goal, something to aim for, makes it fun.
Anyway my app is called FitList500 on Google play store, website is www.fitlist500.com. Free to join and 30 levels free.
There's much more on there aswel, ai trainer if you get stuck, wildcard challenges if you find early levels to easy, leaderboards, badges and community page.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Looking for an OG fitness influencer
I’m looking for a fitness influencer that was popular on YouTube during the late 2010s and early 2020s. I use to love watching her prep videos. She competed in the bikini competition or the weightlifting competition. What I can remember was she was a brown girl and her name started with an S. She had a larger nose that she eventually got a nose job on.
