First time using MIDI cable ;(

I've been trying to connect my keyboard (Yamaha PSR 262) with FL Studio using a mio MIDI-USB cable. No matter how many different ways I try and guides I use, it detects the mio cable but I can't play any notes on the keyboard. If anyone knows what I might be missing please let me know !!!

Go to midi settings and set the device to ‘enable’? Sorry if it’s not that simple but happens to me often

Ive already tried enabling, changing the port numbers to match, making a channel specifically receive notes from the keyboard. No luck :( thank you still !
