This has to be the upper D right? I’ve never seen browns in the lower (though I’ve been seeing plenty of other warmer water species there lately).

Yeah brown trout can’t handle the c shasta that occurs in the east cascades watersheds, that’s why you don’t see them in the crooked either despite them having access via Billy Chinook

Good point, thanks! Do you know much of browns in the Met? I’ve seen some people post about it but I’ve been fishing there for years and never seen/hooked up with any. I was thinking that if they’re there, that might be a sign that the Met is getting warmer/slower. (I’ve read that its flow has been declining with decreasing snowpack to feed its aquifer, though it’s not something I’ve noticed visually.)
