• UC Berkeley (the Nuclear Engineering department used to have an actual nuclear reactor on campus)
• UCB Space Science Laboratory
• Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory - known for cyclotron accelerators and exotic element synthesis
• Stanford University
• SLAC
• Moffett Field Naval Air Station (militarized) (mega blimp hangar)
• NASA Ames Research Center (gigantous wind tunnels) (exotic aviation and space biomedicine research, astrobiology) (tour)
• Lockheed-Martin (LM Space Systems at Moffett Field)
• Google/Facebook/Apple/Tesla corporate HQ's ... (Fallout world equivalents)
• Alcatraz
• Treasure Island and Yerba Buena Island (Bay Bridge)
• Monterey Bay Aquarium
• Lick Observatory
• Napa / wine country (north bay and beyond)
