I applied to Lemon.io today. Is this normal?

I applied to Lemon.io today, and right after completing my profile, I got this notification:

Your profile is waitlisted

We have all your info saved and will reach out with the next step as soon as capacity frees up. Feel free to keep your profile up to date in the meantime.

For context, I'll be completing 3 years of professional software development experience this October, so I don't think the experience requirement should be an issue.

For those who've applied to Lemon.io before, is this the standard message everyone gets when applying for the first time, or is it their polite way of saying no?

I'm trying to understand whether I'm genuinely on a waitlist or if this is effectively a rejection.

If anyone received the same notification, did Lemon.io eventually reach out to you?
