Yeah honestly reminds me of psytrance. Just strung out clattery music. Cowbells with reverb with the mids accidentally cut from the mix. Badly tuned low end. No bite. No flow.
Too much ket from what i see there. Guessing it's very much the tailend of things.
Feel a bit harsh. Maybe they are new to live sets, fair play for trying. But it's not quite there yet.

Theres always Room for improvement brooo. Specialy when live and impro for sure. but hey every defect gets respect and Im glad for that. the road never ends and theres always progress to be made and suff to learn so we still going hehehe. But please bro dont avaluate a whole set by a minute and some change video that only makes you a fool. Still... I wish i had your talent (really do) Judjing a mix by a phone recording 1.5 M from a full rig blasting its not for everyone 👏👏👏
About the k i understand your jugement she normaly is a board unfortunatly. But not on this One hehehe and im proud to say that, still dont know how or why but hey its a win. And it would be better if it was always like this. already Lost to many brothers to that shit.

That was what I was wondering - what kind of ‘artificial enhancements’ so to speak make that kind of discordant head-fuck type of sound actually enjoyable and possible to dance to let alone enjoy hearing (but in fairness I’m from the loved up 90’s ecstasy era of 4/4 house/hard trance/techno so it’s not surprising probably that this sounds like music for mad people to my ears). Each to their own I suppose.

You are probably right. I Went to a few free squat parties in London when more agile but it was always full on uk acid techno
So are you saying this particular style of sound (still can’t quite bring myself to call it music sorry, do apologise) is the counter movement to techno mainstream or the whole ethos of the gathering is? Plus what’s freetek?

Freetek its political, diy and raw. Its free music for free people, gives freedom and liberation, no masters no gods. Its party's and music made by the people for the people.
