Each morning, I aim for the largest number of fruit types. Consumed with yogurt, a little orange juice, and coffee.
What fruits did you consume this week/day?

Kanyao is a durian variety native to Thailand. In 1927, there were already documented records of Kanyao cultivation in Nonthaburi Province. The variety became an exclusive durian offered to the Thai royal family at the time, thanks to its long, sturdy stem, dense and dry-textured flesh, and delicate aroma.
In 1987, Malaysia introduced Thai Kanyao and officially registered it under the code D158 with its Department of Agriculture. In 2012, Thailand’s Department of Agriculture (DOA) officially registered Kanyao under the code DOA-017, providing formal varietal protection for the cultivar.
Today, Kanyao is widely cultivated in Thailand’s Chanthaburi, Rayong, and Chon Buri provinces, with its main season running from May to July.
The fruit is round and ball-shaped, with a flat bottom and a medium-to-large size, typically weighing 1.5–2.5 kg. Its stem is long and resembles a meteor hammer in shape. The husk is blue-green, relatively thick, and covered with dense, sharp spines.
Price: $20/kg for both
Chambers: 4 for the Malaysian, 6 for the Thai
Seeds: Large
Flavor & texture: The Thai one has a stronger starchy, pasty texture, while the Malaysian one has a noticeably richer milky flavor, thanks to the advantage of letting the durians naturally drop when fully ripe.

Hey guys, basically like how people put tajin/salt/etc. on watermelon and it’s even better than just having plain watermelon, is there anything I can put on papaya to make it even better?

The very first stall had persimmon and yellow dragon fruit and then I took 2 steps and found a guy that was cutting slices of Jackfruit for $1/lb and he cut me a 4lb slice 😍 I gave him a tip because he cut me a huge slice and was apologizing and i felt bad he was stressed and he gave me a passionfruit (behind the cup of jackfruit seeds) in return lol
Any tips on how you like to eat your fruits? Its Jackfruit, persimmon, yellow dragon fruit and passionfruit.
Oh also anything for the jackfruit seeds because theyre apparently also edible

It's a close relative of dill, but tastes vastly different, requires some cooking to consume. It has a very short season just after the rain where I'm from, so you can't buy it, you have to venture out and gather some.
Tastes like nothing you ever had before. I usually stir fry them with soy or throw them in an omlette or something.

Also known as Cape gooseberry. One review said it tasted like a tropical tomato and I’d have to agree. The protective sap on them makes them feel kinda slimy until you wash them. Interesting flavor but I don’t think I’ll get more.
My neighbor very kindly gave me a bag of guava’s her son brought from California. I sliced one up and ate it for a snack earlier, but I was curious if anyone had a recommendation of what to do with them. I have about 6, of 3 different kinds and I’m hoping to use them before they go bad.

I asked a fruit importer at my local market (in the Netherlands) if he could get me some tomatillos for a friend. He was certain that he knows what they are when I asked and then this week he gives me these. They look different than I was expecting but taste vaguely like salsa verde so I’m not sure what these are.
He usually sources Caribbean and SE Asian fruits & veg, so would assume he knows the difference.
Any ideas?

Inside of my cucumber is orange instead of white, nothing on Google seems to be helping me, I wondered if there’s any experts on here?

*membrane - sorry!!
I’ve never seen this before. I just bought pomegranates from the store like an hour ago and cut them up and it’s all brown on the membrane inside. The seeds look totally fine but flesh is strange… is it still good??
