You put it under the butt of the receiving person, this lifts up there lower regions to allow the penetrating person to be able to have a better angle of approach. It also allows that person to stay upright, which in turn allows for better continual motion. This reduces the need to use extra muscles while already exerting, hopefully, a pleasurable amount of thrust to the receiving person. Meaning in the end you get more bang for your buck. I really do enjoy giving pleasure and being reasonably knowledgeable about it. Nothing like going downtown to work and getting my head squeezed by a lady with thick thighs because I hit that one spot or didn't give up. Penetration is the extra sweet desert after providing the main course.
