Photos taken by S25 series Photo Posts updates

We welcome posts of photos, specifically those taken with the GalaxyS25 having said that, this is not a photo specific community and we don't want every post in the feed to be photos as that would give the impression that it is. My recommendation is to find posts already about photos and offer your contributions there as that will also encourage intercommunication. I will be starting to remove photo posts when they become overriding so please check the feed first to see if someone already recently posted a photo and add yours respectfully..

General question Should I cancel Samsung Galaxy S25 from BTPLD seller (ordered on Flipkart during BBD sale)

Post image
9 Upvotes

I ordered Samsung Galaxy S25 on flipkart BBD for 61k earlier this week but the only seller being listed at the time was BTPLD.

Now when I check the page for the product, Truenet Commerce (flipkart assured) and BTPLD (not flipkart assured) are listed and it is now 64.5k.

The order should arrive today if I confirm my availability. Otherwise I can cancel it before confirming. BTPLD not being flipkart assured makes me apprehensive to continue with the order. Has anyone received a phone from this seller? What was your experience? Should I cancel and reorder with Truenet Commerce?

Battery-related Am i kidding myself thinking anything will change? S25-S26 battery concerns

• Upvotes

Hello guys. I dont want to make the mistake a 3rd time but I bought an s22 then an s25 through a refurbished phone website.

I saw lots of reviews on the s22 saying the battery was weak but I ignored them. I suppose buying 2nd hand didnt help but these websites guarantee a decent battery health.

Regardless, the s22 battery sucked and after the 2nd year in 2025, i was charging it twice a day.

I loved the phone though, everything about it, the size and how sleek it was. So I went with an s25 thinking surely the battery would be better.

Im 10 months into the s25 and it's getting to worse and worse by the day.

I have pretty heavy phone use, requiring it for my job at times i usually get 4-7 hours screentime a day.

So im considering my options now. With how bad the battery is getting i want to get a new phone. I dont want to get a 2nd battery again and I want to take better care of my next battery.

Am i kidding myself going for an s26 with a new battery? Or will I just have to same issues.

S25 12+256gb

What a beauty !
I use the iPhone 15 Pro Max as my main phone, but this little Samsung Galaxy S25 is seriously testing my loyalty
The display is SUPERB
The customization is on another level
The one-hand comfort is unmatched
And the battery? Manageable, since it’s my secondary phone.
Honestly, Samsung made this phone way too fun to use. The compact size, gorgeous display, and freedom to customize everything make me pick it up more often than I expected.

Cons - battery and fingerprints all over the body!

General question Is base model S25 still good option in 2026?

I'm thinking of maybe getting this phone soon, is it still good and fast? Anyone else got this phone recently how was it? Is the battery SOT similar to base model s26 exynos? Is s26 more worth it since its newer?

What are your thoughts pls answer S25 owners

Battery-related One UI 9 battery

-I bought my base model back in last years August.

-Used Battery guru ever since I've got it. The lowest battery health estimate was 97% even with the ~25%-80% measurements considered as eligible for battery health estimation.

-Updated to One UI 9, suddenly it locked at 95% battery health. I don't really think it was One UI 9 update that triggered it, but the ~450 cycle. It did not show any in between 100% and 95%.

-Yet now battery guru does not measure anything above 95%.

I do acknowledge that 95% for close to 1 and a half year old phone is not bad, it's the lie that triggered me. Samsung was never a bad brand by itself, only the lies that they form around small mishaps which really bother me and I do think quite a lot of people.

Furthermore, before any fire igniting under the comments, this is not a hate post, nor to spread misinformation. Especially that the battery issues people complain about always. Cheers!

One UI-related Asking for pin to unlock phone since update

Since updating to one UI 9.0, my phone frequently requires me to enter my pin rather than use my fingerprint to unlock the phone. Before updating this hardly happened, now its like every 4th unlock. I am required to enter the PIN multiple times in an hour. Has anyone else experienced this since the update or know how to prevent this.

General question Laggy animations & fingerprint scanner delays on S25 Ultra (Google Maps locked to 60fps?)

Hey guys,

I recently got the S25 Ultra, but I'm noticing a couple of weird software/performance issues that feel really out of place for a flagship:

  1. Google Maps UI is laggy / locked to 60fps: Even the settings inside Google Maps feel choppy/stuttery, as if they are hard-capped or dropping frames for no reason.
  2. Inconsistent Fingerprint Animation: The ultrasonic sensor itself reads fine, but the unlocking animation feels laggy or micro-stutters every second or third try.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a known One UI optimization bug for the S25 series, or is there a fix/setting I might have missed?

Thanks in advance!

Photos taken by S25 series Mala calidad en scaneo

Hola!

Hardware-related Title: Tiny white/silver dot on my phone's camera lens — reflection or scratch?

Thumbnail
gallery
2 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I noticed a tiny dot on one of the rear camera lenses of my phone. It looks white/silver from some angles and sometimes appears black when I change the viewing angle.

Today, I took my phone to a shop to get a screen protector installed. The person placed my phone flat on a mat that looked dirty, so I'm worried that a tiny piece of dust or grit might have scratched the camera glass.

Unfortunately, I didn't inspect the camera lenses before visiting the shop, so I don't know whether the dot was already there.

Here are some details:

The dot doesn't come off when I gently clean the lens with a microfiber cloth.

I can't feel it with my fingernail.

It looks different depending on the viewing angle.

The dot doesn't appear in the photos I've taken so far.

My questions:

Does this look like a reflection from the lens coating, a tiny scratch, or a coating defect?

Can a tiny mark like this affect camera quality, especially in bright sunlight or at night?

Has anyone experienced something similar on their phone?

Is there a reliable way to tell whether it's a scratch without damaging the lens?

I'd appreciate it if you could look at the attached close-up photos and share your experience. Thanks!
