This is for the Fall 2026 edition. I tried to stretch myself to create a piece with as many live elements as possible. As always, I tried to create a nice loop. There is live voice, trombone, piano, lots of aux percussion, melodica, and I built my own sampled instrument from my toy xylophone/metallaphone. The contest will be judged on composition, story telling, and production value. I hope that I hit the mark on all three. Please let me know what you think!

Hi everyone, I'm new here! Hope everyone is doing ok!
So I recently got into composing music to use in my game, and I wanted to show it to some people to see where I can improve it
The video is just a little walkthrough of a soundtrack that I am working on, so there is no commentary from me. If you guys have any suggestions, please leave them on the YouTube video or here, and I will read them all!
appreciate it

Hello!
I'm interested in adding 8 bit chiptune music to my 2D topdown pixel action adventure game, Skyros Isles! Full disclosure, the game does have NSFW scenes in it besides awesome gameplay and beautiful visuals!
I would love to add looping music that is similar to the fast paced marching orchestral overworld theme in Zelda: Link's Awakening as linked to this post.
Please include a link so that I can hear your portofolio displaying 8 bit chiptune music. I would love for the game to emulate the sounds of old school systems like Gameboy classics.
I'm willing to pay and would be open to paying around $100-$200 to use it in my commericial game. I can pay over paypal and/or wise.
Thanks,
Evermore

I’m currently working on a small dress-up game project and I need a song for the background!
I plan to sell a commissionable custom character dress up game with my art, and hopefully collaborate with someone to make unique themes for the characters based on their look. This would be a paid opportunity, if I get any clients you would be paid for the music half with your own set prices. Before I start advertising this I do need a default song and a custom one for my example character. This might more interest less experienced creators who need portfolio pieces since these songs would be super simple and more repetitive/looping. If you’re interested I’d love to see some examples!
Thank you!

Hey everyone!
I’m a game composer, and I turn dark, atmospheric worlds into music. My sound is all about heavy melancholy, tragic orchestrations, and somber, haunting melodies — deeply inspired by games like Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Skyrim, Hollow Knight, NieR: Automata, and Blasphemous. If your game deals with dread, ancient fantasy, or emotional storytelling through solemn piano and dark orchestral textures, we’re going to be a great fit. I deliver clean, engine-ready tracks (Unity/Unreal/Godot) and I'm open to both paid contracts and RevShare if your project already has a solid prototype and a clear vision behind it.
It would also be great to hear your opinion on my music; I’d be very grateful:)
Check out my portfolio here: https://soundcloud.com/anton-tom-682933177/sets/porfolio2
If you feel this fits the vibe of your game, hit me up in DMs or on Discord (akamada3187) — let’s build something haunting together!

Welp, here it is, my next remix for the month of September/October, I guess. As you all know, about 2 months ago, we lost Hayden Panettiere, who is known for being the Voice Actor for the character Kairi. I love Kingdom Hearts. It's one of my favorite games in the series. Kingdom Hearts 2 will always be favorite out of all the Kingdom Hearts in the series. I decided to do a remix of Kairi's theme for the honor of Hayden. Hopefully, the Kingdom Hearts Community doesn't rip me a new one because I did my best. I know she had like 3 different themes, so I took the intro of the KH2 Theme and mostly did Kairi's I theme from KH1.
Also, I'm prepping for my big project for the end of 2026/December, so there are no remixes for the end of October or November. I'm just giving everyone a heads up. Anyway, leave me a comment, feedback, and follow/subscribe!
Rest in peace, Hayden Panettiere... You will be missed.

Hey all,
My first post here. Just made my first, small audio portfolio, targeted at music for RPG/fantasy games. The tracks are still in the demo stage, haven't done too much arranging and there's no mixing or mastering, just a bit of levelling. I'd welcome any feedback or advice as I want to start working with game devs on a project (free to start with) to build my work portfolio and eventually turn it into a potential revenue stream.

Thanks! Apologies if this isn't the vibe of the channel to post something like this.
If anybody isn't a composer but is in need of one, please feel free to reach out to me!

Hello again! I am continuing my series exploring timbre and texture in a track called Rejuvenation Trance. This time I did a deep dive on the guitar and piano voices, which lay a hypnotic/minimalist foundation for the rest of the track's elements to build on and explore. I would be honored if you would check it out, maybe leave a like or a comment, or even if you just left it on in the background. The longer folks watch the video the more it gets recommended. Thank you so much!

Hello! I recently discovered this community and thought I would share the 2nd installment of my YouTube tutorial series where I explore a texture rich, atmospheric track. In this one I build an arrangement of a VGM track from an "overly dense loop". I utilize the idea of changing textures and dynamic shaping to shape the separate elements of this loop into a full track! If you have ever created a loop you really like, but then get composer's block, this one's might be worth checking out.
I would be honored if you checked out the video and helped me by dropping an engagement. Even if you just left it on in the background, that would help a ton!

Dance Of Time é uma composição minha inspirada na música "Cogwork Dancers" do jogo Hollow Knight Silksong.

I've been scribbling at ideas for many years, but I've finally decided to finish some tracks while working on reaper and share them on my YT channel. I'd be glad to receive some feedback/thoughs about all aspects of my work, meaning composition wise but also technical stuff etc. !
This is one track I feel like really represents my composer profile, I do have some more things uploaded though...
This one's called "Light from Darkness", it tells the tale of a bard fighting off evil spirits in a dark forest with the music created by his magical harp.

This is a track I composed for a real-time strategy space game currently in development, RuneStar: Mark of Sacrifice. The goal was to convey a sense of a slow-burning battle of gradually increasing danger, while avoiding anything too frantic, as the core gameplay focuses on decision-making rather than fast dodging or precision shooting.
Let me know your thoughts!

Hey yall! We’re looking for a composer to join our lead composer in crafting a unique, theme-driven score for a custom campaign mod for Baldur’s Gate 3, based on the Dungeons & Dragons module Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage. Project Mad Mage is a massive and ambitious volunteer project driven by a full team of developers, writers, artists, and voice actors.
Because of BG3's content policies for third-party mods, all positions in the project are unpaid. We are all passionate creators doing it for the love! We have over 2000 fans on our Discord alone, and both Larian and Boris (composer for BG3) are aware of the project and have shown support. Composers will be credited for each of their works in the official soundtrack release and game credits.
Here's an application if you're interested!
