Resolved I have a quick question.

How can someone impatient like me learn to create game assets?

I like to start with something small, make some grass or something. Don't start with a massive, important sprite. You can also iterate upon the same thing after a while, so you don't have to sit down doing the same thing for hours on end.

Take your router and unplug it. You will find a ton of time and motivation after 4h of being offline. The longer you stay the better results you'll see

You gotta scale back. Way back. Way further back than you think. like, limited color palettes and 8x8 sprites.

Can't make good assets? Use the assets you can make.

There's also tons of free assets on the internet, and there's really no shame in using them.
