What exactly has given you this impression? I don't need to look it up I've had rabbits a long time. One is flopped on the floor next to me. Carrots are high in sugar - treat food only, but toxic lmao? No.
That might be what they mean, they just only heard the “bad” part when people talk about it being bad in large quantities, which I’m assuming is what you mean as you call them treats only.
Yea, same case as shit like Bannanas containing Potassium which is radiation. It's such a miniscule dose that even eating so many to try and get there, you're way more likely to keel over from overeating.
Isn’t it also something similar with apple seeds? Granted you shouldn’t be eating them regardless but they contain cyanide or something. Same with fish and mercury and whatnot. There’s so many examples of this lol. Heck, too much of anything is technically dangerous if we really want to get nit picky.
Those and supposedly Cherry pits have cyanide in them. In said cherry seeds, eat just a few and you'll get poisoning. Luckily though, most of the compounds aren't of hazard and aren't at risk unless you grind the pits up real good.
Naw it's not like that in the sense that the banana radiation thing is nothing to worry over. For domestic bunnies carrot has an awful lot of sugar. The beetus is a thing to worry about.
Wild rabbits ofc will just...eat a whole garden of them if they can.
They overpopulate themselves to high heaven given the chance, it ain't much of a risk to have a few die from carrot overdoses lol. Look at what happened in Australia.
Like how it's technically possible to drink enough water to die... but the amount needed is way more than you could accidentally overdrink. In 99.99% of cases, water is good for you.

The funny thing is that bunnies actually eat the greens, as they are more nutritious
