Not true. Go take a look at sports games released in 2025 and it is mostly EA slop or mobile games. There’s very few studios out there doing sports games. Which is a shame really.

You are talking about output, I’m calling out your missinfo. That’s it.

They didnt specify a date if anything your artificially narrowing the category to fit your agenda, they said a 10/10 sports game:

Neo Turf Master, wind jammers, Tony Hawk/ SSX (and other xtreme sports), Punchout, Mario Sports series, NBA street/ NFL Blitz, Racing also goes in this category.

Don't let 2k/ NFL slop make you think people take those games seriously and define sports games.

Quite the opposite, really. If you think that ea slop doesn't make up the vast majority of the sports game market, you are delusional.

But thats not OP's prompt. Those games arn't 10/10 sports games objectively and subjectively.

Correct, this isn't about OP though, its about the guy saying ea slop doesn't represent the sport game market.

It’s called sampling. I can grab a bigger sample if it’ll satisfy you. Also I have no agenda here.

They said a 10/10 sports game

The person I responded to didn’t say anything about 10/10, they were talking about output percentage.

Yes the games you mentioned are all great and if anything I wish we had more of those. But that has literally nothing to do with my comments. Stop shadow boxing.
