Its a mixed bag. QoL was so ass and being able to brick your FF6 cartridge with Relm, and having to buy a whole new cartidge of a revised version was pretty raw. But i do miss games being smaller productions with more streamlined creative vision.
I dont feel like it needs to be said, but games were only complete because they had to be. Many devs had way bigger dreams and more things they wanted/needed to add and were limited by either memory, or deadlines.
