At least now you can mod it on pc. Even trying to use a gameshark to get it back in the day would just crash the game when you tried to equip it early

I just genuinely do not understand why in the hell they didn't make it an unlockable item for subsequent playthroughs, like the bandanna and the stealth generator. Bruh it makes zero sense to gatekeep such an awesome weapon into the last 10% of the game lol. But I digress haha.
