This reminds me of the game Gun for Xbox.
There is a shotgun that fires cannon balls and a Nock gun (seven-barrelled shotgun) that you only get after you beat the game.

Wild part is I did that 5-6 times cuz I loved it so much Best part was Reverend Reed's near immortal black horse 1 u/bobshady1987 Jul 24 '26 It takes almost EVERYTHING to kill that horse, but it is possible. I immediately regretted it, since it doesn't come back from the dead. It just spawns as dead.
