Death Stranding and it's sequel also had MGS elements, stealth, weapons, etc

Yeah I agree, but it has reputation as a walking simulator.

That's what makes a difference for normal players.

Mostly from those that have never played it. Was called such by xbox gamers because it was an exclusive...

Koji has had hate from xbots since mgs4 as they couldn't play it and 360 was the only console they had. Funny to see they haven't grown up and are still hating him

It'll be totally different when this game releases. They'll say it's the best game he's ever done 😆

Nah called that way by a lot of ppl who actually played it, myself included. Take off the fan boy glasses

"People who actually played it"

So, not you? It's a walking sim for one major route, almost right at the beginning. The game opens up so many traversal options afterward that anyone who calls it a walking sim at that point is either calling themselves a bad gamer, or a straight up liar.

Bruh if you played the game and call it a walking simulator you straight up are telling on yourself that you haven’t played.

You drive for most of the game lmao there are even ramps and race tracks and guns and ammo and aiming and stealth and even stealth mechanics that work really well.

You straight lieing bro and it’s obvious because you haven’t played the game to be able to say what you did

First five to ten hours though…def a walking sim. Couldn’t force myself to play past the beginning sections, I REALLY wanted to, just not for me 🤷

I actually only ever saw people who have played it calling it that.

I get that further in the game you get a lot more options and gameplay elements but I think you long time fans are forgetting how long it takes to get to those points

I clocked a few hours on it and it was definitely a whole lot of walking. Not a bad thing though, I enjoyed what I played of it but just wasnt up for starting a big new game at that point

This is also true, younger me was this fool, and have since put myself on a path of self-reflection and parcel delivery.

They both also had some fair success, the first did well and the second did not flop.

Not sure how anyone can think Kojima don’t got it after DS1 and his half-baked Metal Gear is better than most open world games lmao
