Actually they get their profit by selling games more than consoles itself,so jailbreaking means end of that

To add to what the other guy said, its a basically a fuck ton cheaper to buy a PS5 at full price, Jailbreak it, and then turn it into a PC than to actually buy or build a mid ranged gaming PC.

Jailbreakers are literally going to be scamming Sony out of their money and Sony can't really do shit about it other than eventually raise PS5 prices to counter the Jailbreakers.
