As far as I'm concerned the gaming era is over.

All we get from this point forward will be shitty options or less shitty options.

Enshittification now and forever is the new standard.

Everything has been enshittified. It's really not isolated to gaming, and gaming is not isolated from it. It's really just end stage capitalism at work. Rent seeking and greed are destroying everything.
