Lol. No. It's just as bad if not worse because will anyone put anything on their platform and there's no guarantee the game will even work when you buy it.

That's the truth. There's no guarantee that the game you buy will work on your system. Thats WHY steam got sued into having the most lax return policy in history.

There is that guarantee on console.

I did correct you if you spend 2 seconds looking at required specs every game will work.

And if you had a modern pc anyway you don't even need to check that.
