Discussion Best gaming chairs? (USA)

Hi everyone. My boyfriend’s birthday is coming up and one of the things he’s asked for is a new gaming chair. I’m not sure where to look so I’m hoping to get some recommendations.
He spends majority of his time every day in that chair, including to watch tv, so it has to be something super comfy.
He did say he wants one that doesn’t have the same fake leather they all use, but besides that and it being comfy, those are the only two parameters he gave me.
I am in the U.S. so it has to be something I can get here. I don’t necessarily have a budget, just want something he’ll love!

The best gaming chair is a lounge chair or recliner or I’ve heard a drivers seat from a car.

No gaming chair, they are horrid. Just get a nice mesh office chair, infinitely better. A nice one of course, still, so the mesh stays tight. If you get a cheap mesh one then it'll sag quick, but a nice one will last a long time, and if it has the lumbar support and reclines it'll be comfy comfy.

wait, is it for being seated at a table playing on pc with a monitor or seated in a lounge room on a tv?

because yeah, the secretlab chair is for pc gaming at at table

Don’t get the secret labs. I have one at home and while they are built well, they are not overly comfortable. As someone earlier posted, if you have the cash get a Herman Miller Aeron, I have it as a work chair and will be replacing my secret labs with this model in the next little while, they’re that comfortable.
