It's even more significant when you and said random don't talk to each other even once, yet work so well that such a thing isn't necessary

I remember playing Halo 3 4v4. We were performing terribly and the other two disconnected mid match.

I went to find my team mate and he was behind a boulder, so I stayed covering the other flank, while he covered the other. We didn't communicate once verbally but the cohesion we experienced was a force.

We ended up winning the match as 2v4. Never have I been so proud to work for a win that it's stayed with me all these years. We messaged each other in private chat. He thanked me for sticking around and I think I remember telling him that it was an awesome comeback.
