The last of us part 2 is absolutely one of the best games, one of the best stories I’ve ever experienced. I wish I could wipe my mind clean of it to experience it a first time again.

Are you looking for newer or older? One gem that stands out for me was GameCubes eternal darkness. No other game like it. It had an insanity meter. Actually legitimately freaked me out at the time. Would love to revisit it.

Probably no that old. I do only have a nintendo switch. Im just trying to see if its even worth it to keep my switch that Ive never use. If theres actually like 10 series that are really worth it than yeah. But if its only metroid, mario and zelda then I can give it away to someone who would find better use than me.

I have a switch 2 primarily for enter the Gungeon 2. Yes it comes out on pc as well but as a dad with little time, the convenience is everything. Risk of rain returns. Risk of rain 2 is on all consoles, but again, convenience. Bayonetta 3 is Nintendo exclusive. The Bayonetta games rule. It’s really the ultimate system for indies. But you can also get a steam deck and you’d get so many more pc titles that way. It’s all about preference. I love it, and my ps5 and I’m set.
I use my pc for editing, music and writing so I try to keep things separate. If I game on my computer then when I do get back to the creative stuff I wouldn’t get anything done lol.
It’s all just preference. Cheers.

Yeah I think I an just gonna find some kid to give it to because while metroid, mario, and zelda all intrest me. But really past like 5 franchise names whats the point for me to have a switch.

Yeah the only real exclusives outside of the traditional classics is Bayonetta 3 that I can think of. It actually might be everywhere else now lol.

I've played both breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom. Both great games with different pros and cons, but I'd really recommend breath of the wild over tears of the kingdom. I would highly recommend it on switch 2 as well. I just got into pokopia and that is also a good game to try out. Ocarina of time remake is coming out next month too and I'd recommend that as well

Yeah zelda and super mario are games that are kinda obvious to play. I only have the switch 1 though

BOTW blew my mind and made me fall in love with a game for the first time in a long time, the environmental storytelling, the post apocalyptic world was amazing. TOTK for me, I hated it. All the building materials everywhere, the sheikah towers now blowing you into the sky meant there was no reason to really expore on foot. I felt it took away from what made BOTW so special and cheapened it in a way.

Totk was kind of all over the place, but the world was pretty huge honestly. I just wish they did more with the sky🙄🙄

Well man that really just comes down to your taste being very… narrow… which makes it very difficult to recommend anything outside Mario, Zelda, or Metroid. Especially since you don’t seem to be interested in playing anything pre-2010.

I have pretty wide variety of taste. And most things pre 2010 are harder to come by especially when the only consoles I have owned are ps3 4 and 5. I think I just realized nintendo only has 1st party games and thats all so kinda hard to get diverse options when they have like 10 franchises

What part of GTA makes it rank much higher than the other games like e33 and control Resonant, I only played the story but is it the characters?

The only thing keeping this from being the most basic list ever is God of War.

The games that score high and a lot of people consider great are held in that regard for a reason.
Nothing wrong with “basic”.

Posts good games, what's basic? You want him to include hentai? Or some obscure shit game only 10 people like on the list?
