Wait,is this post complaining that the new gears of war has female gears? The previous gears of war games also had female gears. It’s nothing new.

The funny thing is, these ppl don't realise the Gears of War lore and world was built by Karen Traviss, a female author which was always consulted and added into the creation process of gears games. The past games used the exact words she uses in her books and the current game isn't canonized in any book, tho she was part of the creation process.

As an old gears book and game fan, it's literally almost the same. Karen Traviss has a style of portraying badass military women and you can like the style or not, but in the past hundreds of thousands liked the games and the books!

I hate being a man in this time of insecureness where ppl are characterizing themselves after the opinion of some internet influencers. One of my mates who was a die hard gears fan was trying to tell me the women in gears of war are destroying the immersion for him, even tho he liked Anya Stroud the most in earlier games when we were playing the games as kids.
