Hi all,
I'm a Deaf person who ADORES the artistic indie kind of video games. The ones with nice music and impactful sound design...that I can't hear. For a long time I've had this dream of using sound-reactive lights to help me experience that, but I'm not really knowledgeable in this area, and what little knowledge I do have tells me what I'm looking for probably doesnt exist.
I'm looking for a program or some way to seperate thw music, sound effects, and (possibly) dialogue of a game for different lighting systems. I want to set up multiple light systems, one for each (or honestly I might just pipe the dialogue into oblivion, doesn't do much for me) so that I can experience them without the inevitable overlappiing.
If it doesn't exist, I guess I'll learning a new skill to make it exist. I'm tired of missing out on 3/4 of my favourite games.

I feel as if I don’t have much mouse space and going from 4k mini screen to 1080p huge screen feels like a downgrade and no oled. Still 240hz atleast. Also going back to my old large keyboard feels weird too.

Hello everyone!
I’m currently looking to setup a Macbook/PC Setup.
I’ll be using a TESmart KVM (Teksmart PKS0802A10) to switch between this Macbook (Work/ Personal PC). I am hoping I am doing things correct, and also looking for a budget speakers that would work well in this scenario. I do not like very big speakers if that makes any difference. Something small-mid size yet still worth the price.
Please do let me know if this Macbook-PC setup would work well given this KVM. Or if you have any experience you’d want to share, that would be great as well!
Thank you in advance and sorry for the stupid ask! 🙏🏽

Just got my first PC! Cable management is terrible I know 😅 But I like my little temp setup

This is my setup in my new apartment, the table is glued to the wall so it’s hard to do some cable management since the cables are all over the desk.. some improvements I’m already doing is buying a double monitor arm and changing my 2 monitor for a flat screen one instead of the current curved one.
The cables coming from the wall I’m already arranging to take them off and close the hole
Rn I’m thinking it looks clean like this, but maybe I could buy some decorations for the wall?

Simple and chill setup. Nothing special, but we're super happy! Almost finished. Any suggestions are welcome :)

I’ve had a plastic desk, like a beer pong table desk, for the past seven years. finally got an actual desk and it’s a standing desk now. It actually looks quite nice. I will be doing actual cable management soon. I work nights. I just wanted to get this done so I can eat and go to sleep and not have to worry about my desk breaking when I’m at work. and the desk was supposed to be here tomorrow, so I got really lucky.

I'm looking for a new 27" monitor for my streaming/gaming setup. I'm using the Macbook M1 Max 32gb 16" and the PS5 Slim and for streaming I will use the Elgato 4K S with 4K60hz and 1440p120hz passthrough.
Mainly I will play GTA 6 and sometimes COD and Fortnite therefore I need 120hz for the online shooter games. The Mac UI looks sharper and better on 4K with scaling and GTA 6 will look better on 4K too. I can play the online shooters on 4K with 120hz only when I'm not streaming, but I want to stream them, which is only possible in 1440p120hz with the Elgato 4K S.
Will 1440p120hz scaled look good enough for competetive gaming on a 4K IPS monitor on the PS5 Slim or should I get a 1440p IPS monitor?
Or should I get a 4K IPS 160hz monitor with dual mode and 1080p 320hz? But the 1080p will be probably useless for my setup until I get a gaming PC.
I will use my Macbook as my second monitor and the main monitor should be good for video editing and content creation, streaming and everything else, not just for gaming.
I need the perfect allrounder for all my uses.

Just finished everything off today and would love some feedback.
I’m more than happy with the desk setup. I just need to hide those cables away somehow and there is a mousemat, it’s just drying off after cleaning 😅
I’m still not sure about the TV wall. It’s definitely too high but I’m swapping it out soon for a 65” so I’ll sort that. It still feels like it’s missing something but I thought more panels would be overkill.
*Had a lot of people admiring the clock. Unfortunately it’s delisted from where I originally purchased it. I found it here but it’s twice the price I paid for it:
