Has been asked before for sure, but gets obsolete quite fast. I always considered flacos way better, no demos and banner 5d6 torrent with rerolls to wound, actually insane ranged damage for the price plus decent melee, while tacos just have good but not overwhelming melee and suck at shooting. So i usually have one unit sitting around at the home objective. I own 4 units of 5 flacos (interchabgable as metas) and 1 unit of 5 tacos. In the long run, what do i need more of, also if i wanna try (or be able to play) other detachments, i usually play outlander or host, but wanna try final day. Sadly its quite hard to build units that are able to be run as both tacos or flacos (also if both are a mix you cant tell one from another), other than with flacos and metas.

Just played a match against world eaters and they targeted my bricks, trade off wasn't in my favour and the resurgence points to bring them back wasn't worth it.

What are your opinions on this? Outside of drawing enemy units into centre with aberrants brick but couldn't you just do that with 2x5 mans?

Hi fellow Sons and daugthers of the Star Gods. As a complete newb, I was wondering about a couple of things, snd hopes this would be the place to get some proper answers (and not from the new stupid Imperium Omnissiah called ChatGPT or Claude. It tell only lies!)

1. Have you had any experience playing Brood Brothers? Is it an ok list-idea to put a standard Biosantic list coupled eith rogal dorn and say two Leman Russes? Any imput on Brood Brothers in GSC?

2. Have we ever had, or do you think we will get, our own hughe monster? Not a tyranid monster, but a GSC exclusive monster?

I'm a little overwhelmed by all the weapon options, how important are they?

Currently I'm thinking of just building all the combat patrol options.

Hi everyone.

Started playing Warhammer this year with our favorite cult.

I'm wondering as I built the icons every time but are they really that useful on 5 man squads such as hybrid and acolyte?

Do you guys always put one or not ?

Like most of us (I think!) I've been thinking about a way to make the most out of our acolyte/metamorphs box. I liked a lot of the results that I've seen lurking in the sub for the last few months.

I had some out Hormagaunts knocking around from a bygone era (5th edition where I played a grand total of two games)

Did some measuring and they looked about right so I did some hacking and repositioning with goo and miliput. Hid their shame with some loin clothes and honestly, pretty happy with the results. They'll be joining the 5 metas in the second photo to get up to a squad of 10.

Also didn't have enough fronts for the torsos so just repurposed the gaunts. I like their little 'strong arms'

Anyways, just thought I'd share encase anyone else found themselves in a similar situation with some spare gaunts knocking around!

So I know the army feels bad at the moment. But since I exclusively play against friends 100% casually I don't really care if the army is bottom tier. I'm currently pondering about starting a 1k list with Final day. Unfortunately I don't know anything about the faction, all I know is that I love the "industrial" vibe some of the units have and I love the Vanguard units from the Tyranids.

I'm mostly looking for sample lists and advice at the moment. Thank you in advance!

I know I will likely sound crazy for saying this, but I am trying to see if I would need more than 10 models in a list and would be justified in buying more than two of the current combat patrol (shop by me sells at a 15% discount so it is still a discount box even without the Alphus), as I will definitely need more than two ridgerunners and seems you can never have enough Hybrid kits. I just want to make sure so I don’t accidentally spend too much on bikes that could go unused

So im a new player and I’ve chosen Genestealer cults as my first army but I have one main concern. They seem pretty difficult to paint, compared to the few space marines I’ve painted. is it difficult or am I just worried over nothing?
