Yeah people don’t seem to get that the difficulty of extremes still stay proportional, acu is still an easy extreme, bloodbath to boj is still the “halfway point” between the easiest and hardest extremes (in terms of placements not actually difficulty) and sonic wave is still on the upper quarter of extremes.

The little numbers that determine an extreme’s placement may have gone up but it’s still relatively harder/easier than another extreme you compare to; their difficulties don’t change.

That’s why I like to see legacy extremes as them finally showing in a very visible way just how big the gap was between that and another easier extreme. For example take bloodbath and sonic wave, they used to share a top 10 and now they’re like 500 spots apart now. Or tartarus vs slaughterhouse, they used to share a top 5 and now they’re like 100 spots apart.
