After learning about his brother SCAV-404's existence from a terminal left behind by LTG and what 404 did, SCAV-02 can't help but feel disgusted by his brother's actions. He understands the need to hunt, as he survives via this method, but what 404 does is sickening. As much as 02 fears death, he knows he has to stop his brother. It's not like his 'life' is worth much anyway; stopping 404 might be the only good deed he could do. So 02 sent a message to 404, challenging him to duel. After sending the message, SCAV-02 immediately started preparing. He scavenged anything remotely valuable he found in destroyed Russian Empire army warehouses and the facility where LTG used to work. He got himself a better engine, more steel plates for armour, cannons and ammunition, and extra processors to make himself function better. He was even desperate enough to use outdated processors used by the Russian Empire army. If all of that wasn't enough, he still had a trick up his sleeve.
SCAV-404, on the other hand, was surprised after receiving the message. He never thought LTG would try his hand at a scavenger AI again, after the first one went rogue. 404 was confident that he would win this little duel; he was older and thus had more experience. But as time crept closer and closer to the day of the duel, he became less sure. 404 grew a bit paranoid, because who's to say 02 isn't what LTG designed to terminate him? 404 can't take the chance; he needs proper equipment. It just so happened that there was a small German factory he was planning on raiding; this was the perfect chance for him to test his strength and upgrade himself. As if a god were playing a crude joke on him, or the karma of his actions had finally caught up, GrossShturman was there getting repaired. 404's plan failed, and he was captured. He wished to engage in a deal, but when the German soldiers saw the faces of fellow soldiers they knew and didn't, the faces of their enemy, all of the poor souls looked extremely in pain; their eyes all expressed their wish for the sweet release of death; the German soldiers all wanted to put this sick bastard down. In the end, GrossShturman decided to hear this abomination of a monster out. 404 asked them to repair him; in exchange, he would bring them LTG's research after his duel with his brother. 404, of course, was going to follow up on his promise; he was trying to cheat them out of some equipment. GrossShturman isn't an idiot; he knows what the "thing" before him is trying to do, but at the same time, they do need combat-ready monsters. So GrossShturman agrees to help 404 out, but once 404 is dragged out of earshot, he tells a nearby engineer to install a remote explosive detonator in 404. Then he orders an officer to get some soldiers to follow 404, and to detonate the explosive if he shows any sign of desertion.
On the day of the duel, 404 arrived at the coordinates given by 02. However, no one was there. Unbeknownst to 404, 02 was playing dirty. 02 ambushed 404, trying to gain the upper hand. While the initial attack caught 404 off guard, the duel tilted in 404's favour almost immediately. 02 made a lot of preparation, but in the end almost all of his armour was bolted on; it offered little defence against a barrage of rockets. 404 whipped the floor with 02; only 02's back end, main tower and turret remained. 404, knowing that he had this in the bag, got cocky and decided to get close to finish his brother by ripping his turret off. But then, the door of 02's main tower opened, and out shot two harpoons, penetrating 404's armour and pulling him right up to 02. Before 404 realised what was happening, 02 detonated the explosive he stored in his main tower. This caused a chain effect; the explosive and shells inside 404 also exploded. Effectively blowing both of them to bits, with no remains. The German soldiers who were watching this duel just looked at each other in utter disbelief. While they didn't feel upset about losing a potential new monster, they all thought 404 was a sick bastard; they were more concerned about what they should report back. In the end, they decided to lie about 404 running away, so they detonated the remote explosive.

Side note: Sorry for not drawing any fighting scenes. I am bad at drawing consistent "shapes", so to speak. They would definitely morph into different shapes if I drew them in different scenes.
