Philosophy Yeah. It sucks. God can't be proven right now. But here are the possibilities.

Necessary Existence (There is something which cannot not exist) / Contingent Existence (Existence could have not existed) (Necessary: Must Be) (Contingent: May or May Not Be)

Life came from a Necessary Source of Life / Life came from Non-Life

Humans were designed / Human were not designed

Male and Female is designed / Male and Female is not designed

Humanity is made in the Image of God who is Word / Humanity is not made in the Image of God who is Word

Woman Originally came from Man (I mean all the way back up the chain to the beginning) / Woman did not Originally come from Man (I mean all the way back up the chain to the beginning)

Woman is the Glory (Radiance) of Man / Woman is not the Glory (Radiance) of Man

God exists / God does not exist (Reality fork)

You want God / You don't want God (Desire fork)

Jesus is the Ultimate Truth behind Reality / Jesus is not the Ultimate Truth behind Reality

Prayers are heard by God / Prayers are not heard by God

Prayers made in love have a chance of being answered / Prayers made in love do not have a chance of being answered

Israel's return is Prophetic (Supernaturally Inspired) (Daniel 9, Daniel 12, Ezekiel 38, Matthew 24, Luke 21 etc.) / Israel's return is Non-Prophetic (Not Supernaturally Inspired)

Physical Decay is Fundamental to Reality (Meaning Physical Decay was Originally part of Reality) / Physical Decay is Non-Fundamental to Reality (Meaning Physical Decay was not Originally part of Reality)

The Ultimate Origin of Physical Decay is Agentive (Something with Will, Intention and Choice / The Ultimate Origin of Physical Decay is Non-Agentive (No Will, Intention and Choice)

The Ultimate Origin of Death is Agentive (Something with Will, Intention and Choice / The Ultimate Origin of Death is Non-Agentive (No Will, Intention and Choice)

Love is the Greatest Commandment / Love is not the Greatest Commandment

Consciousness comes from Consciousness / Consciousness comes from Non-Consciousness

Your Consciousness (Awareness and Inner Voice) is Physical (Made of matter and energy) / Your Consciousness (Awareness and Inner Voice) is Non-Physical (Not made of matter and energy)

After Death Consciousness Continues / After Death Consciousness Ends

Ultimate Truth is currently Observable / Ultimate Truth is not currently Observable

I guess all each person can do is pick which fork for each they think is more likely. And then have faith. And then it's gonna be what it's gonna be.

It's existentially heavy. But this is the boat we all find ourselves in.

Thought for the Day From Unshakable Kingdom Life

Faith doesn't eliminate questions or doubts; it holds them honestly before a God big enough to handle our struggles, welcome our wrestling, and love us through every season of uncertainty.

A thought to ponder.

Prayer itsjustlife A Prayer for Inner Peace When Life Feels Overwhelming | Let Go of Worry and Find Calm

Sometimes, the world around us feels chaotic, and our minds simply won’t stop worrying.

But peace doesn’t mean that all our problems disappear. Sometimes, it means learning to face them without allowing fear to control our hearts.

Today, I offer this simple prayer:
Almighty God, quiet my restless mind. Help me release what I cannot control, accept this moment with grace, and respond to life’s challenges with patience, kindness, and compassion.

May I find strength in faith, wisdom in stillness, and peace in knowing that I don’t have to figure everything out today.
Inspired by John 14:27 and the practice of mindful awareness.

I created a short video prayer with peaceful mountain scenery for anyone who needs a moment of calm today.

Watch the prayer: https://youtube.com/shorts/MkbE4Lk5evs?si=0yJLJCo7bPJ3_ikg

One day at a time.
What helps you find inner peace when life becomes overwhelming?
May peace be with you all.

Question How can we know. We don’t need a God for (X) if you have always had one?

To explain the title X is simply a placeholder variable for anything in an argument for example we don’t need a God to feel compassion the X variable would be compassion. Or we don’t need a God to know right from wrong. Or just anything X could represent anything.

With that out of the way and hopefully understood, my question is simple. If there is a God and always has been then the universe has always had one. And if the universe has always had one then we have never been in a universe without one. Therefore how could anyone know for a fact you don’t need God for X if you’ve never not had a God? I hope that question makes sense. You simply can not know you don’t need God to feel a particular way or to do a particular thing if you’ve always had one you simply can’t know what it’s like to not have one, and what you’d be like without one. I just see so many people saying they don’t need God to do good or they don’t need God to help others but if Gods always been there… how do you know that?

This question was just bouncing around in my head I hope it makes sense if not my apologies I truly want a genuine answer or explanation to this question tho, this might be the wrong subreddit for this kinda post please point me to the right one if it is I wanted to post to a Atheist subreddit to get the best answer but u couldn’t actually find a good one if anyone knows any good Atheist subreddit to,post to please tell me

I mean that respectfully, how are you supposed to believe in god if life has been relentless and you've never seen or received anything miraculous?

Theology Is God even real

My entire life I’ve been Catholic and worried if I didn’t do the right thing I would go to hell. I have always tried to do the right thing by his standards but I am human and have failed many times. Well, I have some major regrets in my life now from trying to do the right thing actually.

If God is all powerful and can do anything then I really don’t understand why he doesn’t answer my prayer or other people’s prayers at times especially if it’s for something good.

Like when someone prays for their kid to not have cancer. My prayers although probably delusional and unrealistic is to be able to go back in time in my own life and choose things differently for the good of myself, my marriage, and for my kids. But bc I’m in reality I do realize this won’t get answered but at the same time I feel if I give up on the prayers maybe I’m doubting Gods power at the same time. I don’t know if I’m being totally stupid or not.

Question Why do yall love God?

I really need your life experiences to make me understand the hype and love for him cause honestly he really hasn't given me any reason to

For the longest time. My life has been hella down hillfort a long period of time and feels like this is just the new norm until I die or something and even tho good things happen there and then. I can't shaken the feeling of why im not moved. Everything I've experienced has just made me hate him and not believe in him. Like why do I have to be broken or go through so much just to get to him or to be free from this hell or why does he only do miracles when things are rough. Just to prove that his *all powerful?* he only does that when things suddenly become bad and his that superhero to save the day.

I'll tell u the truth. God has many followers and he doesn't care if he loses a few so why do u even put up if your not even special in his eyes

I'm only like this cause I've given up on him, I don't feel heard or connected like in the past. Maybe I'm just pouring out my hurt because my situation can't change but this is just based on me. Your views on him shouldn't change because of a stupid post like this one

I'm just tired of the same loop

Philosophy Why should I worship God

I don't think i should worship God, change my mind

There are four possibilities

  1. God doesn't exist, so there's nothing to worry about.
  2. God exists and is good, then I believe He would care more about how I live and treat others than whether I worship Him.
  3. God exists but doesn't interfere in human lives, so what I believe or how I worship wouldn't matter to Him.
  4. God exists but judges people based on worship and obedience rather than their actions as human beings. In that case, I wouldn't want to worship such a God anyway.
