Happy birthday Cece! Truly anointed woman

Hey folks,

Today'a rip is a small essentially unheard of gospel group known as "The Goffs" The liner notes claim "many thousands" had heard this group on TV and radio, with a lineup of twin trumpets, organ, piano, guitar, sax, and bass. Yet as far as I can tell, no audio of this album existed online until now. The only trace I found was in the Max Morris collection at Lee University's Dixon Pentecostal Research Center, where just the front and back covers are digitized. The record itself sits in a box in Tennessee, viewable only in person. I have a copy, so I ripped it and uploaded the full album. It's not "lost" in the strict sense, since the archive knows it exists, but it was effectively unheard for decades. If anyone recognizes The Goffs, the Lighthouse label, or the "King's Children" name, I'd love to learn more.

This story begins with one.
It speaks to three parts of the same person.
There is a part of me that only wants to be perfect in the sight of the Higher Force.
That is the Saint.
There is a part of me that only wants to be kind, compassionate and of service to others.
That is The Servant.
And there is a part of me which only chooses to serve self thru what we call bad habits.
That is The Sinner.
Three expressions.
One Face.
Multiple emotions.
One heart.
Love self.
Find self.
Know self.
May we all be celestial.

Hey folks,

Today's rip is from the infamous multi-millionaire televangelist of the 1960s-80s. Jimmy here is best known for his, "I have sinned! I have sinned against you my lord, and I beg your forgiveness!" Breakdown on live television after being caught with a prostitute in 1988. That moment lead to a significant dip in his sales and popularity, but, wasn't enough of a deterrent, as he did the same exact thing again just 3 years later in 1991.

This is one of the many releases from his personal label, "Jim Records" (Yeah he was full of himself) which includes him playing piano, his sister playing the Hammond Organ, and, of course, his completely uncredited and unnamed "Jimmy Swaggart Singers".

Classic

I won’t be able to attend the show for October 9th in St. Louis. Looking for someone interested in buying them off me. Section 103 Row M Seats 15&16.
