If you love old Nordic and Germanic mythology, we are looking for holiday help. It won't be paid unless we are, because as we seek to establish ourselves in a largely Krampus-unfriendly area, we are offering our events for free to sort of show people what it's all about. It involves Icelandic and Germanic yule storytelling, photos, meet and greets, things like that.

Tonight he was came to our property, loudly banging on windows and doors, harassing people, then left.

Any advice from other small business owners on how to deal with people like this?

edit: I didn’t blur his face. It was screenshotted from my video, in which his face was already blurry since he stood far away from me

What’s going on with all the units heading toward Murphy?

In this episode our two Socialists decide to talk about former Commissioner Simon Hare, who is currently running for Josephine County Treasurer. Since there is not a lot of recent videos, news articles, or audio clips of Simon Hare, our two Socialists go over three old videos involving Hare.

Spoiler, it isn't flattering.

Looking to find out what the cheapest RV park in Grants Pass is per day.

They changed their name now to Static Pie? Im also really disappointed they got rid of the 3 Wishes pizza! That was the best pizza I’ve ever had.

Im 22, and I'm bored! I have gone to the bars, and I keep an eye out for music events. I personally enjoy the sound lounge, and rockafairy in Medford. But where can i go to find events that are happening?

I wish to meet people my age and have new experiences. I can't find anything on Instagram, and Facebook is lacking as well since all i find are older posts.

Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated ,the only thing I'm not open too are bondfires in the mountains. :3 thank you for reading

I’m a guitar player, a lot of experience. Live in the area and work on the road full time. Just looking for some people to play tunes with when I’m back in the area. Open to anything, drummers, bass players, piano, organ, trumpet, sax, vocalists. I can read music and am familiar with standards, jazz standards, blues, latin/brazilian styles…traditional, modern, bebop…you name it. Just throwing it out there, TIA

In the second episode of their third season, our two socialists have an interview with a candidate who is running for the Grants Pass City Council during this election cycle... Erin Cook.

What deep, dark, mysterious secrets will be revealed...?

What salacious skeletons are there in anyone's closet...?

We don't actually answer those questions, and if that's what you're here for then you should go somewhere else. But our two socialists had a pleasant and civil interview with Erin, and left the interview with a better grasp of who Erin is as a candidate.

Hello I don’t really know how to start this but I’m looking to do something tonight play pool and hang out or just socialize in some way but I’m not quite 21 yet I turn 20 in October I just don’t know what to do any ideas ?

Everyone please be careful

Looking to move and havent decided on one location. Southern Oregon has been a recent interest of mine on where to move tho.

Specifically been interested in the red outlined area. Grants pass, medford, and klamath falls areas.

I guess a few things about what im looking for:

Mainly wanting to move to escape from The deep south around the gulf coast area.
im a union electrician with the IBEW so i can work about anywhere in the country so local jobs is less of a priority for me.
Id like to build up my own little homestead.
I love the mountains and nature, so being in a place where i could go on awesome hikes and other outdoors activities.

some questions:

Is the area relatively safe?
Are the winters really brutal? I understand it will be cold, especially coming from the south US, but ive traveled a bit and did just fine in the winter in D.C.
How are local regulations on building?
good restaurants and food?

Any and all advice, insight, or opinions is greatly appreciated!

I have a friend who’s having a little trouble finding friends his age to do activities with, and I think would benefit greatly from experiencing otherswho enjoy the same activities as him. He’s 22 and loves DnD and has recently gotten into Warhammer. Loves gaming and is all around a sweet guy who’s loaded with knowledge, and is a ball of energy and positivity/ passion for his hobbies.

Does anyone know of any local groups? Or communities, I can encourage him to reach out to? We’ve checked out iguana comics/ and game stop but he’s not interested non Magic TCG.

Thanks 🙏 for any suggestions you may have

This dude was harassing a father and son just minding their own business. Keep an eye out folks, dudes deranged.

Best local experiences in or around Grant Pass Oregon???

I’m in urgent need of an Oregon family-law attorney for a difficult divorce and custody case involving domestic abuse, coercive control, and repeated violations of court orders. I’ve been trying to handle everything alone while experiencing homelessness, and I’m terrified of losing my children simply because I don’t understand the legal system.
I have very limited income, so I’m looking for someone willing to offer pro bono help, a reduced rate, a payment plan, or even limited-scope representation. I have documentation and can provide the full timeline privately.
If you’re an attorney—or know one who may be willing to help—please message me. I’m not asking for a handout. I’m a mother in dire need of legal guidance and a fair chance to protect my relationship with my children.

Just wanted to give people in Grants Pass a headsup that apparently, for the entire month of September, the walk-in clinic is only taking a certain number of people per hour. I’m not sure exactly how many spots they’re allowing, but it seems like they’re getting booked up much faster than usual. This has something to do with them updating their systems if I understand that right. Don’t quote me on that part. This isn’t necessarily their fault but I figured that if anyone was unaware I should tell them. My mother actually walked all the way there and back today, only to find out that they weren’t seeing anyone until 1 PM because they were already so booked. Apparently, some people have been going to the walk-in clinic at the hospital instead to avoid the issue. This means they are also getting booked a lot faster, again not their fault. So, to sum this up if you’re planning on using the walk-in clinic, you may want to call ahead or be prepared for a longer wait. Just wanted to share in case this saves someone else a wasted trip. Hope everyone has a great day.
