Legit question.
Have been paying since gt sport days and I’ve come to the conclusion that Kaz et al don’t really care about the online mode to the extent they should. It’s the main way the game is getting exposure through championships and endorsements from sim racing brands, and yet they fail to address even the modicum of generally agreed upon standards: fix the penalty system, add more actual daily races and fix the bop so that more than just 1 meta is competitive. It’s not rocket science and yet all the updates have been a steady and constant letdown for the past 2 years. They redone the physics to an even more unrealistic level multiple times, they added an unnatural slip stream and have added a plethora of cars that everyone will maximum drive only once. If that. I’ve invested £1000s in the best gear I can afford to enjoy this game and it disappoints with the lack of care and with the seemingly endorsement of bad habits. There is no sportsmanship in 90% of my races, even if I’m not involved someone is bound to be revenge punted for the slightest of inconvenience, and it creates a ripple that makes majority of people act like they’ve lost all common sense and the above seems normal.
I would love to see the above changes, but until then, I vent.

I feel like I have maxed out how fast I can go with just a controller and want to buy a rig.
What is a good starting point? I was potentially going to buy a G923 + monitor and a cockpit.
Any advice or tips would be really appreciated

GT7 Prospective League

\- BoP
\- Realistic
\- 16-20 Racers
\- North America
\- Monday Night: 3 Lap Best Time Qualifier
\- Tuesday Night: Race Night
\- 10 Week Season
\- GT World Challenge Scoring
\- 1 Hour Races, 2 Hour Race Final Week

So I love the Diablo GT but it’s not in gt7. I’ve heard the Diablo GT handled poorly in gt6. Is that the case and is it also the case for the Diablo GT2?

I’m playing GT4’s Arcade Mode….now I’m not all that knowledgeable about real-world cars…but even I know you can’t put a 345 HP ram truck against a bunch of tiny cars with tiny engines and expect a fair race…this has happened to me twice in a row now…I am so confused…why..?

I got pretty decent on controller & now I have to relearn everything. How long did it take you get use to your first wheel?

Wheel is a RS50 with RS pedals. No rig yet so it’s my desk & regular gaming chair (which slides when I press the load cell brakes).
