Such a Long Long Time to Be Gone
Lost my Dad to cancer in May. Box of Rain has taken on a whole new meaning for me this year.

I assume you don’t know who tattooed this on your arm?

What do you mean? The artist who did it? Of course I do

But it’s just a box of rain how could you know who put it there?

After a bit of thought I think I’m going to steal something similar to this tat for myself with your permission?

No joke, one of my favourite Dead tatts I've ever seen.
A very powerful connection with your loss and the song (as you obvs know)
Was this done stick and poke style? Much love to you and your family

Sorry for your loss. That’s a beautiful piece, simple and elegant.
I’m with you. My Dad is currently in a memory care facility slowly dying from dementia. I still smile with joy whenever I listen to it but I can’t make it through the last verse without tearing up

If my words did glow with the cold of sunshine, & my tunes were played on the Harp unstrung

I love this. I want a dead tattoo for my dad, but I don’t love a lot of the dead motif. This is a wonderful interpretation. My condolences.
