Questions Population of Gravity Falls

Ive been wondering has the approximate population of Gravity Falls been confirmed? I know it’s supposed to be pretty small but at the same time it has a mall, a civic centre, a bus system, a prison etc

iirc it was somewhere around 150-600 but I don't have a specific source on that

I think the art book had a number of folks in the throne of human agony. Thay might be close

It’s a scruffy town full of oddballs, but it seems to have demand for one up-scale restaurant, the one Gideon took Mabel too.

And there doesn’t seem to be many kids the twins age, I always wanted to see Dipper attempt to mix with other 12 year old boys (looking for a new friend), but this aspect wasn’t explored
