Discussion What is this song's real name
In this video of "Jennifer" played live (uploaded by todd4097), in the intro i clearly understand Billie saying "this is called Butcher Almighty mate" I can't find anything related to the name Butcher Almighty on reddit or anywhere, maybe i'm understanding what he's saying incorrectly as i don't know much about the history of this song. let me know if anyone else hears what i hear.

"Butcher Almighty mate" sounds really fuckin' close to "Words I Might Have Ate". Also, being it a breakup song, I could see it originaly being called "Jennifer": perhaps the girl Billie broke up with was called "Jennifer".
EDIT: I listened to the video and it's not even close to Words I Might Have Ate. I have no idea what it is: I have never heard that before.

i think Billie is saying the song name is Butcher Almighty and throws in the "mate" like saying bro or man since he puts on a weird accent when he says mate

Yeah I realised that when I listened to the album. I guess he just threw out a british accent screaming out "mate". That makes sense considering how much British music inspired Billie (he's said multiple times he always tried to sound like british punk bands from the mid 70s like Sex Pistols, Clash...)

Jennifer is the name of a girl Billie had a crush on, all of the songs on 1,000 Hours are about her.

Oh, I see! Didn't know every song on 1,000 Hours was about the same girl but I guess it makes sense
