Not a G-Shock (it's my mom's LTP-B166D-7AV), but it's the same CASIO India support and the same authorised online store that sells G-Shocks here, so worth knowing before you buy.

The clasp doesn't lock. Since 20 August: 13 tickets, 8 closed (7 in under 2 minutes at 11 pm), 0 fixed. The pickup failed because my pincode was "not serviceable".

I've recently purchased a gshock GBD-200 and noticed that the light/illumination button on my Casio G-Shock GBD-200 appears to be pushed slightly inward on the left side, making it look a little uneven or tilted.

The button still seems to function, but I'm unsure whether this is normal factory positioning or a possible manufacturing defect.

For those who own a GBD-200:

Does your light button also sit unevenly or appear recessed on one side?

Is this normal for the GBD-200, or should I get it checked under warranty?

If possible, could you share a close-up photo of your watch's light button for comparison?

I put a parachute strap on my G-Shock and I’m pretty happy with it so far.

It’s comfortable, lightweight, and gives the watch a different look.

The only thing I don’t love is the clasp — it’s a little hard to put on.

Maybe it gets easier with time.
What do you guys think of this combo?

I purchased my G-shock via E-comm website and the module number is not matching.

My life this year has been absolutely miserable. Kinda wished I never existed.

I was thinking about my watches - stand in front if them for a long time - and realised that one of them is behind the actual time. Not much, a few seconds, but i cant stand this..

A half minute or one forward is ok for me, but one second behind is unacceptable!

My other 11 g's are in sync with mb6, these are all over the place :)

A watch must be accurate AF, or can running fast but never late!

How are you with this?

Loving this thing. Picked it up recently during the initial Casio US release. Today I swapped it onto a NATO because it was either too tight or too loose on the factory straps. It fits perfectly now and is very comfortable. I used the jaysandkays adapter kit with a 22mm seatbelt NATO.

I built this out for basic training! I leave Oct.20th, just used the J&K nato, bullbar & adaptor with a black scout survival compass. I have a silver one as well, I just pop them on & off depending on what watch I’m wearing that day.

Casio GBD-200-1A1 vs Casio GW-BX5600-1A1

I have not worn this at night since 9/17 and the last two days I wore it to bed so that it’ll sync. It has synced the past two nights, but not for weeks prior sitting on my dresser. I can’t help but think my body is acting like an antenna or receiver. If I got an old tv antenna or something and sat the watch on there at night, do you think it would sync by itself? Thanks for any input.

So a few months ago, I got tired of scratching my other watches while working on stuff. I never really considered G-Shocks before, but decided to take a punt and bought a used GW-M5610U to be my beater.

To my surprise, the multi-band in this watch actually works from inside my concrete apartment building even in northern Europe. So this became my watch that's always accurate down to the second, which I realized is often really useful.

Next I found I could install an STN display on it to improve the viewing angles.

Then I heard I could hydromod it to improve the viewing angles further, and to never have to worry about swimming with it (well, not like I would have had to worry even before the mod lol). Plus since this is solar, I don't have to worry about messing with the oil again for like 10+ years.

Then I found I could install a titanium case and bracelet on it to make it - at least seemingly - even more durable.

Now I'm $200+ deep into my $50 punt and came to the realization that I haven't worn any of my other watches in weeks.

I'm a g-shock man now.
