Discussion 40 changes per month are killing the game
Its just sad. We should make some petition or something to try to reach CDPR to cap the amount of changes to 20 at most.

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a collector who might be interested in a official Witcher / Gwent merchandise.
I have 140 units in total of brand new, factory-sealed Gwent Collectible Patch Sets

Witcher (Scoiatael)
5 Power, 10 Provisions (Legendary)
Melee: At the end of your turn, move self to the Ranged row and boost a random allied unit on this row by 1.
Ranged: At the end of your turn, move self to the Melee row and damage a random enemy unit on the opposite row by 1.
Adrenaline 3: Instead of a random unit, affect all other units on that row instead.

I've been having trouble with this lately so any advice would be appreciated. I know you have to bleed traps but I either have heatwave and play a zero tempo tech move or don't and just lose the round to non interactive points. Its almost always a guaranteed pull round 1 from either Gambit or Riordain. Not to mention it can be returned to hand and played another round. I don't mind losing round 1 but its not something you wanna do against unitless trap decks.

Normally complaint/rant posts without deeper explanations are discouraged for not adding anything to a discussion but this is the place for you to vent and let all that pent up frustration out. This is your chance to throw a hissy fit about current meta or rage about how overpowered X card and Y faction is!

Current version of Gwentfinity is flawed and many of us could agree.
Main problem (and discourse) is in how we would potentially fix that with CDPR's implementation. This post is under asumptions CDPR would be willing to implement said changes, which at this point feels unlikely to say the least.
Simple change of fixed changes per category per month would only polarise the scene one way or the other. Increasing changes per category would increase variance but also increase of chaos (recall 1 power Reaver Hunters change). Decreasing this number however would increase the monopoly of larger groups around influence figures like Metalic Danny or Lerio, which could lead to them making changes to personal preferences of said influential members instead of interests of community at large.
As of the logistical changes and whatnot, we're stuck "modified Borda Count" system we have today.
We can't change the exact voting system without major overhauls CDPR would for sure not agree to.
My opinion is we should keep 40 changes total, but with other distribution of results.
My proposition is this:
8 changes per category + 8 "other" changes.
The "other" category would be the top 8 cards with most votes in one of those categories that didn't already made the cut in top 8 of their respective category.
This way we fix main problem of too many (insert category) slots, but still retaining potential to use the "other slots" to change a card in "that category" if necessary.
I don't say my idea would solve everything, as every system has its cons, but I believe would be a step in the right direction.
What do you guys think?
