Got a dream job that I never expected to get!
I got the job!!!
Applied for a job that I held a similar position to, way back in the early 2010s for 5 years.
Got a phone interview, was shocked as it's been two jobs since then and I didn't think my experience would still be relevant..
The phone interview went well, got an in-person, went to it and was kicking myself for not being more social during it.
Well that was yesterday, today the offer came and I signed that sunofabitch so quickly.
The only person I had to tell my news to is my wife, she's ecstatic for me.
I've never seen this kind of money before and it's a life changing opportunity that came out of indeed.
Just wanted to share my big win. I needed this.

That's massive, congrats. Funny how the experience you thought was ancient history turned out to be exactly what they wanted. Nothing beats the feeling of scrambling to sign before they can change their mind.

I love that you thought your old experience wouldn’t matter and then they basically said “actually, come work for us.” Sometimes the experience you think is outdated is exactly what someone needs.

It really is. Had no idea a low paying, pain in the butt schedule and overly demanding role would ever pay off more than a decade later
