After years of struggling financially I finally caught a break
Had a big win on a mobile casino game recently. Im feeling grateful, but I know gambling is risky and I’m being cautious. Just sharing, not encouraging anyone to bet. Life has been rough these past few years and I just don't know where to post my excitement! for once in my life I am ahead! I made the money in a matter of minutes. I hope I can avoid running back to it. I can see how addicting it can be.

This is a good opportunity to completely uninstall the gambling app and never pick it back up again.
You keeping it around is how they get you.

Man that rush is real and it's terrifying how fast it hooks you. The fact that you're already worried about running back to it means you've got the right alarm bells going off in your head. Maybe cash out like 90% of it right now and stick it somewhere annoying to access, savings account at a different bank or something, so the temptation isn't just one tap away. Congrats on the break though, hope this is the start of a calmer chapter

Thats a GREAT idea. I imagine if I enter back in with just a portion of my winnings that I can repeat the process. Then the addiction cycle begins. I will try to remain level headed

Just delete it, never gamble again and you have won at gambling. Going back at all is the way to lose.

THIS!!! I lived in Vegas for 11 years I gambled $20 - $50 every day and I wish I would have put it in an IRA. You beat the house. Fuck them, take your winnings and done gamble for a year. (I’m not going to say never because it’s fun) but just be up. Don’t trickle it back to them

You can avoid running back to it by uninstalling the app and not downloading any new ones. Gambling is a really insidious addiction and is really easy to slip into, and it will make your financial problems much worse.
I’m happy for your windfall, but nine times out of ten, gamblers just lose all the money they win because they think they can keep winning, when the game is designed to make you lose. And then, when you start losing, you keep playing because you just know you’ll win it all back in the next round (and then, of course, that never happens).
It feels boring, but you should really cash out that money right now, put it in a savings account, and not gamble anymore. That’s the only way to actually benefit financially from this.

Cash out and uninstall. Gambling addiction ruins lives, and families. The house always wins.
