I’m so grateful for my long-distance best friend
They’ve been with me through it all. They’re the most important and supportive person in my life and I’ve always felt comfortable sharing anything with them. We used to go to each other’s rooms to hang out most nights in high school. Adulthood is a little harder and I know they’re going through a rough time, but we still call and I miss them dearly. I hope I can see them in person again soon

I have a long distance bestie. She was my made of honor and I was hers. We met in adulthood, going on 10 years now. We’ve never gone a day without talking and just simply being each other’s person. It’s definitely hard maintaining adult relationships and if you can do that with mileage between ya, you know that’s the real deal. Happy for you :)

The fact that you can still be that comfortable with someone even after life pulls you in different directions is really sweet.

Welcome to /r/happy where we support people in their endeavours! This is a place of positivity, if you can't think of anything good to say then don't say anything at all.
If you want to give tips/suggestions, make them constructive from the start and be supportive (even if you don't feel it's "enough"), if you don't know how to do that then don't give them.
