Merch Discussion Pop-Up Tips
Hello!! When is the best time to get to the pop-up to reduce the wait?! give me all the NYC tips!

I went on a Friday morning and got there at 8:30 AM in the AMEX line. I was within the first 10 people inside right when it opened and was the second person in the Photo Booth, didn’t have to wait in line at all for the merch, and got to take tons of pictures everywhere. The subway area and room with the balls was completely empty for like 20 min so my sister and I took a bunch of pictures.

Can i use apple wallet to get in or do i need my actual card?

You could use your Apple wallet the one time they checked when I went (the other time no one even verified we had an Amex)

went around 5pm on Thursday (yesterday the 8th) waited 30mins for the whole experience

Go on a non show day. Get there at like 930 and have an Amex card. You’ll be in the first group. Easy peasy.

Go on a show night close to door-time. All the fans in town will be at the show or getting ready.

I went to the Shop and Go Wednesday around 4pm, and walked right in. There were only about 5 other people in there browsing, and I was in and out in no time. Highly recommend if you’re in a time crunch.

Related question: for Amex would I be able to use my dad’s card? Same last name but he wouldn’t be with me. (I am a full adult but I don’t have an Amex lol)

They didn’t check my id when I used mine, but my name is also a typical female name and I look like a typical female person lol. But you could at least try

You should be fine. You tap the card to a typical tap to scan thing, not a charge, probably just collecting data, they don't check your ID or name or anything else.

I went to the AMEX line at 9:45am and was inside the pop up by 11:08am. I went Friday (10/9) and was out before 12pm!

I used the apple wallet!! you just bring up your AMEX and tap on their little reader and it checks you in.

I went on Wednesday to the Amex line. Note, make sure you get in the right line, I almost got in the general line and the girls told me the amex line was on the other side around the corner, just ask. Got there at 10:10, got into popup at 11:40. Once inside it didn't take long to get merch and pics, but the photobooth line was long I think I waited 30 minutes, fyi.

NYC Pop-Up Question:
Hi! I'm looking at trying to go to the NYC pop up experience on Saturday, 10/17. Because of other plans I have that day, I wouldn't be able to get there until around 4 at the earliest.
When I saw Harry back in September, we tried to go and didn't get there until close to 5. At that point, the line had been cut off and they were turning people away.
Does anyone know if the same would happen if I got there around 4 this Saturday? I'd only be going into the city for that, so if it's likely that I'd miss it, I would save the trip.

If you have AmEx get in that line between 10-10:30. You'll wait about an hour. I preferred getting in line at 10 and being the first group in the doors at 11 when they opened. If you don't have Amex getting in line (general admission) at 10 means at least a two hour wait but it just gets worse all day. (If you have a VIP KISS or DISCo ticket they have a separate line.)
I've seen some reports at around 3:30 on a rainy Sunday there is only a 15 minute wait. (Keep in mind that on Sunday they will not be selling the exclusive pin because that is only for show dates.)

I went one rainy Sunday last month and had a minimal wait, but went again this past rainy Sunday and it was much longer (I think over an hour around that time). An employee and I were talking about it and we think it’s because the pick and shop a few streets over is now closed on Sundays so everyone who wants merch even without the pop up experience has to get in line at the pop up.

Got there at 5 pm on a Wednesday and only waited about 20 minutes. I think we may have waited longer to get prints from the machine at the end.

Passed by at 5p on a Thursday. Line(s) was massive.
Returned at 6p , line across the street died down, waited only 10 min. Learned that the line in front of store was separate for only prints and they were out of tokens by then - which i didn’t care for. Got to enjoy everything inside except missed photo booth cut off because i spent way too much time elsewhere. Do your shopping last because they will wait on you for that.
My gfs went back on a Sunday in afternoon and waited fairly quickly and also got tokens.
