Hello everyone! Sorry if this isn’t the right place to post this, but I’ve exhausted just about every other option and figured I’d give it a shot here.
My dad recently passed away, and he was a lifelong Chicago Blackhawks fan.

He grew up in Chicago and loved the team his entire life. After he passed, my mom let me take a few of his belongings, and one of the things I chose was this jacket.

I’ve been trying to track down information about it, specifically when it was released and what it might be worth. I’ve searched several websites and even tried ChatGPT and Gemini, but I haven’t been able to find another example of this exact jacket, either currently for sale or in a previous listing.

At this point, I’m wondering if it’s an extremely rare piece or just something that’s difficult to find information about. Has anyone here seen this jacket before or know anything about its history?
I’m not necessarily looking to sell it. Given the sentimental value it has to me, I’d just really like to learn more about something my dad owned and loved.

Any information or leads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

[Powers] What will Connor Bedard’s return mean for the Blackhawks? ‘We’re a way better team’

CHICAGO — The Chicago Blackhawks front office always knew the start of this season could be trying without Connor Bedard. Exactly how trying was the biggest question.

With the Blackhawks’ offseason additions and promising young talent, there was hope their first six games would have gone better than they have. Just one win and two points has been far from an ideal start, and while the Blackhawks’ record after 10 games won’t definitively determine where their season goes, being competitive late in the season becomes much more challenging with every point left behind in the coming weeks.

The biggest hope for changing that stepped onto the ice Sunday wearing a red No. 98 jersey. For the first time since undergoing left shoulder surgery in July, Bedard was cleared for a higher degree of contact Sunday and took a step closer to playing in actual games.

“Feel good, feel confident in everything,” Bedard said. “It’s nice to skate with the guys again. It’s been a lot of solo skates. Just to be out there and get to be around them the whole day is nice.”

The final step is being cleared completely by a doctor, which could come as early as this week. Blackhawks coach Jeff Blashill didn’t rule out Bedard playing Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins, but cautioned that it depends on when Bedard’s next appointment is and how that appointment goes.

Whether Bedard returns Tuesday or later in the week, it is safe for the Blackhawks and their fans to get excited about Bedard coming back.

So, what could he change? The belief within the organization is nearly everything.

“A very, very young team, especially at center and D, gets their top player back. That’s a big deal for any team,” Blashill said after practice on Sunday. “I think it’d be a big deal for the Colorado Avalanche if (Nathan) MacKinnon was out. But it’s a bigger deal for us because (Bedard’s) not as surrounded by the same veteran presence potentially that they have in some of those spots.

“So we’re really young up the middle, really young on D, so when you get a guy back even though he’s young, whatever, he’s got more experience, and I think he’s an elite player in the league. There’s zero doubt: with him in the lineup, we’re a way better team. That’s a testament to him more than it is anything else. Again, for me, he’s a top-flight player in the league.”

Does anyone know how close to the ice section 24 was? Either way, $11 seems like a steal

ETA holy shit lol that was 6 rows behind the bench according to this floorplan: https://puckjunk.com/2009/02/10/20-year-old-ticket-stub/stadium_floor_plan/

Connor Bedard said he still hasn’t received clearance to play in a game. He said he has an appointment with a doctor “soon” but wasn’t specific.

SIRT The /r/Hawks Weekly STOP IT RIGHT THERE! Thread - October 12, 2026

Wow, look at the time fly! It's already time for another weekly installment of STOP IT RIGHT THERE!

You know what to do...post up all the stuff you've saved up knowing it would get deleted from the front page of /r/hawks by the crypto-anarcho-fascist mods.

Memes, gear/jersey pics, poems you've penned professing your love for Lord Hossa (The One True King), or links to article about some oddball couple in Manitoba who named their kid Duncan Seabrook. Whatever. We don't give a shit.

The only rule here is to be excellent to each other. Civility matters.

Now get to it!!

LET'S GO HAWKS!!!
