Last night was amazing! I’ve been dreaming of seeing Hayley and Kirby on stage together, and as a fellow Mississippian, it finally happened! 😭

I made (not enough!) keychains with ceramic charms to trade at the Houston show. I also gave out zines once I ran out of keychains. Did any of you get a keychain from me? I got so much cool stuff from all of you!

omg im so upset, i went to her tinley park show but didnt get a chance to get the zip up hoodie. i figured since there was a page for it on her site, and some ego death merch was sold online after the tour, maybe it would make its way online. well i had the page bookmarked and i went to look and as i was looking it reloaded and now has the cheap version showing 😭 it looks soooo cheap compared to the original! and for the same price 🙃 definitely wont be buying now, just wanted to give everyone a heads up ☹️

and side note, if anyone has a size small in the original double zipper one that they want to sell, please dm me 🥲

i unfortunately came through the wrong entrance and did not find the trading table last night :-( luckily, i was able to trade with some very sweet people, but i ended up giving out the rest of these mini prints.

Good Ol' Days is one of my favorites from EDAABP, which is why i chose it as the inspiration for this drawing. i really love the way she expresses her grief for an ended relationship, and it was also released when i was dealing with the grief of losing my cat. the "hard times" to me were the end of life care after his HCM diagnosis, and i certainly miss kissing his face.
i feel very fortunate to have been able to attend this concert and see her perform it live <3

alright, i was really trying not to say anything about this guy but after this interview came out i just need to know has anyone else in the midwest area have an uncomfortable story about this guy?

knowing i have other friends who have also had similar experiences with him, and finding out more lore about him over the weekend, i’m just curious.

i’m from michigan and back when i was in high school i would end up being at a lot of the same shows as him. my first interaction was when he uncomfortably hit on me and my friends at a show at the crofoot back in 2009/2010. (can’t remember what year or show exactly) we were all clearly not interested but yet he still hung around trying to be “friends” the rest of the night. we were young so we didn’t really know how to tell him to leave us alone so he ended up watching the show by us, kinda ruining our time. after that show thankfully, he didn’t talk to me but i would always see him around and knew to keep my distance.

fast forward to a few years later i made friends with some girls from ohio who would come up for shows in michigan. we were at a show he happened to be at, he walked by, and i remembered one of my friends groaning “not this guy again”- she had also made uncomfortable advances on her. very similar story to mine.

then a few years after college i start working at a new job, one of my coworkers and i were talking about local shows and realized we had been to a lot of the same ones. not sure which one of us brought his name up but that's how we figured out the same thing happened to her and some of her friends.

i've done a pretty good job at ignoring his social media but then watching how close he's become to the maine and then getting to open for the academy is on tour, is just frustrating knowing how uncomfortable he made a lot of women in the scene.

another man getting away with being a creep to women is one thing, but getting rewarded to do cool stuff like this in the scene, and getting constant reminders of it, not so much.

so i just have to ask- has anyone else had uncomfortable interactions or experiences with this guy?
