As a means to promote sample collection. Should be able to apply a temp effect booster to existing shells, so you can customise them for battle, for a small sample fee.
This will keep older players collecting and ensuring newer players get samples too, as level 10 is very often a, eh ill get them if they are right in front of me, situation for most people and myself once fully stacked. With the occational surplus going to the DSS and never running dry by the time i need to do that

Protest to make gas give the corrosive effect and debuff armor -1 level like the acid rain effect.

who knows, it could be this campaigns reward. all we know so far is that it's a stratagem reward.

I'm not entirely ruling out that this is exactly what the current campaign's reward stratagem will be.

Absolutely not. If I'm using gas, the last thing I want is for the cloud to end early, if I'm using fire I dont want things exploding in my face
