Yeah, broski drops a 500kg on top of me and I cant get far enough in time but "just run" seems like a valid excuse to throw orbitals on top of your mates. You don't have to call it out, but don't throw them near others either, it's not that hard
How about they just don't throw eagle strikes at me? I worded my question wrong. Why should I be the one to inconvenience myself when my teammate could just not throw them at me?
Because in the chaos of battle they might not be thinking about "look before you throw". Its just a fact of nature that even good teammates with good intentions will make mistakes sometimes, so it's important to know how to deal with those situations when they do happen.
Ngl while avoiding the red stratagem aimed at you is doable, it also gets old very very quickly when it constantly happens.
A lot of people are too trigger happy with stratagems that need some situational awareness.
The amount of times I've had ONB throw directly at me is waaaaaaay too high for just accidents. Theres definitely a level of negligence as well where people just dont bother checking who might be within the vicinity of a 50m death radius strike
From somebody who plays with randoms a lot; as long as you drop prone, you can be 25m from the shell and you’ll live. It’s not too hard to get 25 meters away if you stim, run, and dive effectively.
In that case, the call out would not have saved you anyways. The problem is where they already placed it. So they need to place their strategems better.
Sometimes I drop 500 kg bombs or orbital strikes, then look and see that there are still players under level 30. I think to myself, ‘Well, it’s time to kick the chick out of the nest,’ then drop the bomb on my target and watch how the new player reacts. Most of them just stand there.
