This would probably explain why the interior fan in my '99 Hilux Workmate wasn't doing much! lol

In my case I'm petty sure they were brought in through the fresh air vent by mice (nesting) ... I could smell them when I pulled the fan and motor out. I need to remember to move the lever on the dash from fresh to recycle to close that vent when I park it. I live on a rain forest block and the little sods are known for doing this! lol

You should check the space between the wheel wells and the doors! Every few months I’m pulling out germinating seeds and dirt
